Core Google Play screenshot rules to remember
Google Play says screenshots can be added for supported device types, including phones and tablets, with up to 8 screenshots for each supported device type. Screenshots must be JPEG or 24-bit PNG, at least 320 pixels on the minimum side, and no more than 3840 pixels on the maximum side.
Avoid tiny text
Play recommends screenshots that remain readable and do not overload the image with small text.
Show the app experience
Screenshots should demonstrate the app interface and core feature value instead of relying only on abstract marketing art.
Prepare the feature graphic
Google Play requires a feature graphic to publish a store listing. The listed requirement is 1024 x 500 pixels.
